We had a frightening event happening this evening; Bob Ewell attacked Jem and I with a knife. Out of nowhere, Boo Radley suddenly came out and killed Bob. Atticus spoke to the police and they decided not to charge Boo.
Lately Bob Ewell has been causing trouble; he left has been creeping around Judge Taylor’s home and has been stalking Helen Robinson. However, Link Deas threatens Bob, which made the stalking of Helen cease.

Atticus interupts Aunt Alexandra’s afternoon tea with her missionary circle to tell Jem, Calpurnia and I that Tom Robinson had been shot seventeen times, trying to escape prison. He brought Calpurnia with him to tell his family the news.
After the loss of the trial, the black population of Maycomb left food on our porch. The town has been buzzing with gossip. If we walk outside, we get swarmed by people asking numerous questions.
